Financial Performance For Q1 Of FY06 Increases More Than 20%

RE:   Notification of Information regarding financial performance for
      the 1st quarter of fiscal year 2006 ended December 31st, 2005
      increases more than 20 percent compared with the 1st quarter of
      the previous fiscal year

Airports of Thailand Public Co., Ltd. (AOT) and its subsidiaries'
performance for the 1st quarter of fiscal year 2006 ended December
31st, 2005 has operating income Baht 4,006.59 million,operating
expenses Baht 1,601.61 million, other income Baht 1,546.58 million,
and profit before interest and income tax expense Baht 3,993.55
million. The net profit of Baht 3,299.47 million increases of Baht
1,469.43 million (Baht 1,830.04 million for the 1st quarter fiscal of
year 2005), or 80.29 %. This increase is attributable to:
    1. Operating income for the 1st quarter of fiscal year 2006 is
recorded for Baht 4,006.59 million, increase of Baht 191.51 million
from the 1st quarter of fiscal year 2005,comprises,
      1.1 Aeronautical Revenue for the 1st quarter of fiscal year 2006,
AOT recorded aeronautical revenue of  Baht 2,521.78 million,a quarter-
on- quarter increase of Baht 114.76 million or 4.77 %. This increase
was underpinned by growth in the number of aircraft movement and the
increase in landing and parking charges for 20 percent since January
1st,2005.
     1.2  Non-Aeronautical Revenue for the 1st quarter of fiscal  year
2006, AOT recorded non- aeronautical revenue of Baht 1,484.81
million,a quarter- on- quarter increase of Baht 76.75 million or5.45
%. This increase was underpinned by growth  in concession revenue
about 8.54 % as  a result of increasing number of passenger and space
allocated for greater rental income.
    2. Operating Expenses for the 1st quarter of fiscal year 2006, AOT
recorded operating expense of Baht 1,601.61 million, increase of  Baht
124.76 million or 8.45 % from the 1st quarter of fiscal year 2005
(Baht 1,476.85 million). The increase caused by the following
factors:
       2.1 Personnel Expense increased Bath 23.54 million or 5.25%
resulting from the annual salary adjustments and employees recruitment
for  Suvarnabhumi Airport.
       2.2 Operating Expense increased Bath 105.54 million or 22.69%
resulting from the increase of outsourcing and public relations
expenses.
       2.3 State property rental expenses increased Bath 12.13 million
or 7.08 % resulting from the increase of operating income.

According to the above reasons, AOT operating income increased Baht
66.75 million or 2.85 % and profit before interest and income tax
expenses reached Baht 3,993.55 million. The increase of profit before
interest and income tax expenses of Baht 1,500.05 million or 60.16 %
from  1st quarter of fiscal year 2005 is mainly from the foreign
exchange gain of Baht 1,263.52 million.Consequently, AOT has  net
profit after tax for Baht 3,299.47 million, increase of Baht 1,469.43
million or 80.29 %.
